NOTES ON SCORINGThe number of votes for each entry is arrived at by positions on the individual voting slips as follows:1st - 3 points 2nd - 2 points 3rd - 1 point These are then added together to give the final votes for each entry. The points in the final column are for the Points Award Cup THE POINTS AWARD CUPThis cup is presented to the club member who has gained the most number of points during the season by participating in the club events.Points are awarded as follows: a. To entrants in club competitions 1st Place 5 points 2nd Place 4 points 3rd Place 3 points All other entries 1 point b. To members making a substantial contribution to a club meeting (by making a presentation, etc) 4 points 1 point is also given to each member taking part in the practical evenings by bringing along cameras and equipment, acting, helping, or bringing films or videos, (since 2002/03 season including making tea & coffee). |
