The club was founded in 1957 long before video had been invented. Originally members worked with tapes and slides, 8mm standard and super 8 cine film, but as video tape became available in the mid 80's members slowly began to transfer to the new medium. Many members now use High Definition tapeless systems; some record on Blu-Ray discs.
