In November/ December issue of the
Film & Video Maker, the IAC published information about battery
disposal. This prompted Alan Lott to research local means of getting
rid of old batteries.
So if you want to know an environmentally safe way of disposing of
Ni Cad and nickel hydride batteries, Alan's research shows that the
mobile phone shop 'One to One' in Friar Street next door to the Halifax
Building Society is the place to go. They will happily accept both
types.

Judging
We may complain about what the judges say about our productions,
but Court Judges can really rub the salt in as will be seen from the
following press cutting.
A judge ordered a film company to pay a couple from Tewkesbury in
Gloucester £300 after he ruled that a video of their wedding
was "monotonous"
Publicity
|
RFVM membership has remained around the 40 odd for many years,
but a healthy club is one always looking for new members. This
is something we can all help with - not just to leave it to
the poor old publicity manager.
Brian Hibbitt has kindly designed and printed an A4 size poster
to advertise the club and show potential members what we are
about and where we meet.
If you have a suitable local location to display a poster,
be it at the local library, community hall, camera shop, or
business notice board please get copies of this poster from
Laurie Joyce.
