In Focus No 2 sees an improvement on our first issue in layout and now with photographs thanks to Laurie and his new magical box of tricks. I did have a look at how he does it, but not.being computer logic I can only marvel at those who understand these machines, perhaps one day I may understand a little more!

The new season has got off to a very good start with several new faces at our meetings, welcome to you and I hope you are enjoying the programme provided, in particular to the evenings with Bernard Vorhaus and Norman Kauffman. Our first competition the Caversham Cup for the best one minute film or video only four members entered, so lets hope the remainder of the competitions attract more member entries.

Looking ahead to the new year, make a date in your diary for Friday 21 January for our Annual Dinner. I notice Bruce and I are booked for part of the evening on the 18 January, the title is a little misleading, it should be How we chose our music as everyone has their own ideas of music thank goodness.

The next issue should be late February or early March so any articles will be very welcome especially on what you are doing, or problems you have encountered and overcome
