The Programme Co-ordinator is an important job that brings together the speakers, competitions, presentations and workshops into a successful season of weekly meetings.

WELCOME AND WELCOME BACK. We welcome new members. The Production process, Storytelling and B Role. After introductions, Daniel will begin with key points of the production side of film making.

Tues 2nd Oct Course week 3 ALL GUEST SPEAKER Gulliver Moore. An award winning director with many years experience producing & directing commercials, TV and online social content for brands all across the world. www.gullivermoore.co.uk
Tues 9th Oct Course week 4 ALL Composition. Club member Gabi gives top tips on framing your shot.
Tues 16th Oct Course week 5 ALL / members editing challenge COURSE - Shooting Fiction incorporating Sound Recording for Drama. MEMBERS. CHANGE OF PROGRAMME Results of summer editing challenge of shared footage if deferred till DEC 4th. Instead listen to Daniel talk about Shooting Fiction.
Tues 23rd Oct Course week 6 ALL Members and course students combined will work in a practical session shooting a scene/short from supplied scripts. (The results can be viewed either on a competition night, or the informal critique evening.)

Tues 6th Nov PLANNING for Shinfield Theatre Script Ideas - Two films? We have the use of areas of Shinfield Players Theatre for a weekend in early February and tonight we begin planning by inviting script ideas from members.

Tues 27th Nov COMPETITION NIGHT Grosvenor Trophy - Summer Project films (max 15 mins). Films made over the summer break with at least two club members or larger team. Group discussion and Shinfield script discussion after the films if time permits.
Tues 4th Dec NON competitive film evening Open critique evening. Plus Halloweeen films and results of shared footage editing challenge. Bring along a short film for feedback from fellow members.
Tues 11th Dec GUEST SPEAKER Tom Hardwick. "Tom's Variety Show". Technical guru Tom will cover a range of products and his assessment of their value in the film making process.

A colourist for London post production house SPLICE, this guest primarily works with television and film however he also works with corporate, promo and commercial clients. Recent credits include Generation Grime Documentary for Sky Arts, Spring Summer 2018 Clothing Collection for Karen Millen and Salvage Hunters for Quest TV.

Tues 12th Feb COMPETITION NIGHT Gear Trophy - Documentary (Max 15 mins) The main criteria for this competition is to inform your audience who can learn from your subject matter.
Tues 19th Feb KIT EVENING Technical kit evening. Bring along your kit to share / offer tutorial and get hands on with other people's gear. An opportunity to have a practice, in readiness for our next practical challenge. Possibly Virtual Reality kit to experience.

Tues 19th Mar COMPETITION NIGHT Bernard Bareham Fiction Trophy (Max 15 mins) To include the films shot at Shinfield Theatre in February. (Editors please note!)

Tues 26th Mar PRACTICAL Same Script - Different Genre . An experiment to see how different genre can change the feel of the same film script. (Previously supplied scripts) Results at our AGM
Tues 2nd Apr MEMBERS NIGHT
Eric and team present on the "Making of" a recent fiction film. Others members on filming LIVE events, and the technical challenges they bring.

Tues 9th Apr PRACTICAL GREENSCREEN EVENING
Two Greenscreen rooms will be set up. One recording a Script, the other team experimenting with ideas.
Tues 16th Apr COMPETITION NIGHT Bournes Cup - Best of the Year judged by IAC judges Dave & Jan Watterson. Films to be submitted via internet by April 2nd. Details to follow.
Tues 23rd Apr MEMBERS NIGHT RFVM Member Oli presents on Comedy Films
Tues 30th Apr Summer Project Planning Script writers put forward a synopsis of a script they would like to film with help over the summer break.
